Limited Warranty
Henko Trailers, hereinafter referred to as “the Company”, guarantees to the original purchaser that each trailer manufactured by “the Company”, excluding all accessories and equipment not manufactured “the Company”, will be free from material and workmanship defects for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, provided that the purchaser is the original owner of the trailer and complies with the conditions detailed in this warranty. This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Warranty Conditions:
To be eligible for this warranty, the consumer-original purchaser must:
- Register the Warranty: Complete and submit the warranty registration form to Henko Trailers within 30 days of purchasing the trailer. Failure to register within this period may invalidate the warranty.
- Keep Proof of Purchase: The purchaser must retain the receipt or invoice as valid proof of purchase to claim the warranty.
Warranty Coverage:
Henko Trailers agrees to repair or replace (at the Company’s discretion) any part of the trailer that exhibits material or workmanship defects/damages during the warranty period. Repairs will be made at no cost to the original purchaser, including parts and labor, provided that:
- Notification of Defect: The original purchaser notifies Henko Trailers or an authorized dealer in writing, in person, or by phone, about the trailer defect/damage within a reasonable time.
- Estimates for External Work: If the work is carried out by a company outside the authorized dealer network, the purchaser must obtain two written estimates for the cost of the work and obtain prior approval from Henko Trailers.
- Transportation Costs: The transportation costs for the defective/damage trailer or parts to and from the authorized dealer or repair center will be the responsibility of the original purchaser.
Additional Service for Axle Bearing Maintenance:
Henko Trailers offers an additional service, free of charge for the Original Purchaser of the trailer, which consists of inspecting, greasing, and adjusting the axle bearings after one year of the trailer purchase and before the warranty expires. This additional service will be completely free under the following conditions:
- Conditions for Free Service:
- The trailer must be unloaded (without cargo or additional equipment).
- The owner must call in advance to schedule an appointment for the trailer inspection.
- Home Service:
- If the owner prefers the service to be performed at their home or at the trailer’s location, only transportation costs will be charged. The cost of the service (inspection, greasing, and adjustment of the bearings) will be fully free of charge, as part of Henko Trailers’ exclusive customer service.
This additional maintenance service does not affect the Purchaser’s rights under the standard warranty and is offered as an added benefit for Henko Trailers customers.
